E-Balance in a Week

A fixed, one-week engagement that turns your Eplan device export into a working, live electrical load balance in Squid Data Hub.

5 days

Fixed timeline

1 export

Your Eplan device list

1 dashboard

E-balance, live per scenario

Where this fits

The electrical picture, without waiting for everything else.

Engineering data stays trapped in project files until someone builds the electrical picture by hand – usually in a spreadsheet that's out of date the moment the design changes.

No early visibility

Load balance work usually waits until the full engineering toolchain is in place, even though the device list already exists.

Manual, static balances

Excel-based balances go stale as soon as devices, systems, or scenarios change.

No scenario view

Normal operation, peak, and emergency supply are rarely modeled side by side.

Start with the highest-value question first

Full platform rollouts and deep Eplan integration matter, but the electrical picture doesn't have to wait for either.

What's included

Software and consulting, scoped together.

Squid Data Hub access*– scoped to this engagement

  • Device import from your Eplan export
  • Electrical systems & connections
  • Scenario settings per connection
  • Load factor library, visible and editable
  • E-balance & consumption dashboard

No unrelated modules, no long onboarding – just what's needed to see the balance.

Consulting – five days

  • Import & clean up the device list
  • Define electrical systems & connections
  • Set scenarios and initial load factors
  • Build the first e-balance
  • Handover & walkthrough of the dashboard

Squid Data Hub structures the work and narrows every decision – nothing about your electrical topology or load factors is auto-generated or guessed.

*Requires an active Squid Data Hub license for continued access after the engagement. Licensing options are confirmed during your discovery call.

The week

Day by day.

  1. Day 1

    Import & clean-up

Your Eplan device export is imported into Squid Data Hub and checked against the existing system and location structure.

  2. Day 2

    Electrical connections

Systems are connected electrically, guided by Squid Data Hub – filtered by voltage compatibility, tracked as defined or open, visualized as a network diagram.

  3. Day 3

    Scenarios & load factors

Scenarios – normal, peak, emergency – are set on the relevant connections, with initial load factors from the starter library applied per device category.

  4. Day 4

    Build & iterate

The first e-balance is calculated and reviewed together, adjusting factors and scenario assumptions until the numbers hold up.

  5. Day 5

    Handover

Finalized e-balance and consumption dashboard, walked through live, ready to use and extend.

Guided, not automated. Squid Data Hub narrows the decision space – valid connections, matching voltages, tracked progress – but every electrical connection and every factor is confirmed by your engineer. Nothing is guessed on your behalf.

What you leave with

Not a report. A running system.

A live e-balance

Installed load vs. capacity, by system, updated as your data changes – not a spreadsheet that ages the day it’s sent.

A defined topology

Your electrical connections, structured and visualized – reusable for every future scenario or device added.

A running foundation

A scoped Squid Data Hub instance already in place, ready to extend with more devices, systems, or modules when you are.

This is the electrical picture, on its own. Customers who start here typically extend into more devices, more systems, or the wider Squid Data Hub platform once the first e-balance is live – at your pace, not ours.

Pricing and licensing are scoped to your project – tell us about it on a discovery call.

See your own devices in an e-balance.

Send us an Eplan device export and we'll scope the week to your plant or vessel.
